Ager Sonus takes us back in time with this atmospheric ambient album, as we join the cult of Mithra. The Roman deity 'Mithra' appears in historical records from the end of the 1st century AD and disappears from them at the end of the 4th century AD. Unlike the main mythological figures of Greco-Roman religion, no ancient source preserves the mythology of the God. Therefore, all information is obtained from images on monuments and limited mentions of the cult in literary sources.
